From your product page to answers AI assistants can use
Hasmord reads your product pages the way an AI assistant does, shows which buyer questions they leave unanswered, helps you answer them, and measures whether assistants start recommending the product.
- Add productsAdd a product by its link, or many at once from a CSV file. Each one is checked as it's added.
- Start from a buying opportunityWorkbench → Priorities lists buying opportunities: a question buyers ask where AI assistants may be missing your product. Each one says what is missing and its next step.
- See what AI assistants answerResults → AI buying opportunities asks assistants your buyers' questions in rounds and records whether they pick your product and what they weighed.
- Choose a strategyOn the opportunity, Write a strategy: the drafts or plans that answer it and how it will be checked. A draft is filled in and approved before it changes anything.
- Track it and reviewA tracking plan compares the rounds before and after your change. Review & next step says what moved — never from one round alone.
- Publish and measurePublishing puts an Answer Engine page and a Shopper page online. Results also runs controlled tests and citation checks and shows the visits AI assistants sent you.
Page
Workbench
What this page does for you. It gathers, across every product you can see, what AI assistants can't find on your pages and the changes your Agent has prepared, so you know what to do next without opening each product.
The issues across your products, the most useful first. Each one opens on its product with the fix it needs. Recently resolved lists what was fixed, with a link to that product's History.
Changes your Agent prepared that nobody has reviewed yet. Review one on its product, then Approve or Reject it; nothing changes until you approve. A draft that has fallen behind its product offers Prepare again.
A record of the Agent checks and CSV imports that ran. It is not work waiting on you.
Checks every product you can see again from its saved results and your category's recommendations, and updates the list. It doesn't visit your pages or ask AI assistants, and it prepares no drafts.
Reloads the list from the last check. It checks nothing and changes nothing.
Opens Settings → Agent checks, where scheduled checks and your business context live.
Pages
Products and Add products
Products
What this page does for you. It lists every product you can see with its AEO score and status, so you can find one and open it.
Its five pages are Overview, Information, Evidence, Publishing and History. Hasmord keeps one product per page link, so checking it again updates the same product.
Reads the product's page again and updates its AEO score. Where the page and what you entered in Hasmord disagree, your choice in Settings › Workspace decides which one is used.
Opens any part of the product directly, downloads its PDF, sets who can see it (Permissions) or deletes it.
Removes the product after you confirm. To refresh a score, check the product again instead.
Add products
What this page does for you. It adds products to Hasmord — one by its link, or many from a CSV file — and checks each one as it's added.
Paste the product page's link, choose the closest category, and select Add product.
Download the template: one product per row, with a product_url and a category. A sku is optional, and so are brand and model — give them for marketplace links (like Amazon) whose pages can't be read. Up to 1,000 rows and 1 MB.
Each CSV import and its rows: which finished, which didn't and why. From there: Retry rows that didn't finish, Check every row again, Download rows to fix (CSV) or Download report (PDF).
Adding a link you already have checks that product again. If it belongs to a colleague and you can't open it, or can only view it, the row says so and nothing changes.

Every product has the same five pages. The ⋯ menu beside its name has Check the page again and Delete product.
Overview
What this page does for you. It shows how ready this product is to be recommended: its AEO score, which buyer questions your information answers, and the fixes worth the most.
The questions buyers in this category ask, and whether your information answers each one. When a line doesn't count, it says why; Add answer puts the answer where it belongs.
The changes likely to help most, with what to add and where. Add the content yourself, or use Auto-fill with AI, which saves what it writes as a draft for you to review.
Technical details at the bottom of the page opens the six parts of the AEO score, below. The final score is their weighted average; when one part is far too low, a shortfall cap keeps a strong total from hiding it, and Score calculation says which cap applied.
A fix's estimated effect on Recommendation readiness is a guide, not a promise. History shows what actually moved.
Information
What this page does for you. It holds what Hasmord says about this product — the facts, commercial terms and buyer answers that your public pages and exports use. Saving it updates the AEO score.
The name buyers and AI assistants see, built from Brand and Model (software: Brand alone). The category decides which buyer questions apply.
Price, availability, warranty and return window; for software, a free trial, a refund window and your plans. Enter only what your page or policy states: a term left Not stated doesn't score and isn't shown. The line under a term says where it came from — the page's structured data, or the sentence in the page text.
Best for, Not for, Pros and Cons, one line each. The tag on a line says where it came from — your page, a draft you approved, your own edit — and flags template wording to rewrite.
Who it's best for, and the questions buyers really ask with your answers. These are what answer buyer questions.
The same information as data, for developers. When both are changed, the Fields view wins.
Saves every section at once. When the page is checked again, what you saved stays wherever the page says nothing; where the page says something different, your choice in Settings › Workspace decides.
Evidence
What this page does for you. It keeps the sources behind this product's facts and shows which facts they back, so assistants and buyers have a reason to trust what you say.
Your product page comes first. Add a source with its link, what it shows and what kind it is — a professional review, a test or benchmark, customer reviews, your policy or support page — and Hasmord reads the facts in it (View extracted facts). Sources count toward trust and Recommendation readiness; an expired one stays listed but stops counting.
Checks each fact against your sources: Checked independently when a review, a test or customer reviews say the same; Backed by your own page when only your page says it; Conflicts; or Evidence needed. You can link a source to a Pro or Con from here.
Check this category shows why Hasmord's own recommendations do or don't pick this category. It is recorded in your activity and changes nothing.
A fact only your own page states is Backed by your own page. A result or a comparison needs a test or an independent review before it is Checked independently.
Publishing
What this page does for you. It puts this product in front of AI assistants and shoppers: an Answer Engine page AI can read, a Shopper page for people, and an Amazon listing ready to copy.
A public page with the product's buyer answers, facts and the sources behind them. It can be published once the answers are specific: who it's for and not for, a comparison or tradeoff, and at least three real FAQs — See what it needs lists what's missing. Publish, Update after the product changes, or Unpublish.
A public page for people shopping, built from the same information. Publish, Update or Unpublish it on its own.
The product's fields laid out to copy into your Amazon listing.
Changing the product doesn't republish its pages; each page says when it's behind, and Update brings it level.
Which AI crawlers fetched the Answer Engine page in the last 30 days. A fetch means the page was requested, not that it was indexed or used in an answer.
History
What this page does for you. It records how this product's score moved and what changed it, so you can tell whether a change helped.
The AEO score and Recommendation readiness over time. Scores compare only within one scoring version; a break in the line marks a new version.
Who changed which field and when — your edits, approved drafts and checks.
Drafts that were applied, rejected or rolled back.
A change next to a score move doesn't prove it caused the move. Position in AI answers stays Not measured yet until a controlled test runs.
Page
Results
What this page does for you. It shows what AI assistants say about your products and the visits they sent to your site — measured, never estimated.
Your buyers' questions, asked in rounds — each way of asking counted on its own — with whether the answers pick your product and what they weighed. A round can also hold answers you import from an assistant's own website.
Ask AI assistants the same buyer questions and record whether they recommend the product, and where. Run controlled test; the card says how many you have left this month.
Whether an assistant cites your page when it answers. Check citations uses one answer for each assistant it asks.
How the product's results moved from one check to the next.
Google Search Console's own numbers for the product's page, from an export you import. Search Console's Generative AI report counts impressions of your pages in Google AI Overviews and AI Mode — not visits, and not a measure of what the AI said. Import it in Results to keep those impressions next to your AI-assistant visits; imported Search Console data is shown under Search traffic, not as AI impressions.
Sessions that arrived from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and other AI assistants (by referrer in your Google Analytics). Shown once Google Analytics is connected in Settings → Connections. A visit is not a sale. Clicks from Google AI Overviews arrive as google.com and are not counted here.
How Hasmord's own recommendations decide about your products, once they are open to shoppers. Until then, Advanced diagnostics → Recommendation funnel can run simulated questions: Hasmord asks its own engine your category's buyer questions and ranks your products against comparable products from other workspaces, anonymised. They are shown apart from real decisions and are never an outside AI assistant's answers. Observability looks closer at real decisions.
Which measurement to choose
| Measurement | What it tells you | Asks outside AI assistants? | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI buying opportunities | Whether assistants pick your product for your buyers' own questions, and what they weighed. | Yes — each round asks the assistants set up for it (and uses its answers), unless you import the answers yourself. | You want to follow a buying opportunity, or see whether a change you made moved the answers. |
| Controlled tests | Whether assistants recommend the product, and where, for a fixed set of questions. | Yes — each run is one of this month's controlled tests; the card says how many your plan has left. | You want a repeatable yes/no and position for the same questions over time. |
| Citation checks | Whether an assistant cites your page when it answers. | Yes — one answer for each assistant it asks. | You want to know whether assistants use your page as a source. |
Simulated questions (Recommendation funnel) ask Hasmord's own engine, not an outside assistant, and Visits from AI assistants and Search traffic are read from your Google accounts — none of them asks an AI assistant.

Workspace, roles and product access
Team & access
A role sets what a member can do across the workspace. Sharing a product gives one member access to that product on top of their role.
| Role | Best for | What they can do |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | The business owner or final administrator | Full control of the workspace: its profile, members and their roles, API keys, product permissions, billing and every product. The only role that can hand ownership to another member. |
| Admin | An operations lead or team administrator | Sees every product and who added it; invites members, removes any member except the Owner (handing their products to someone else), changes roles other than Owner, and manages API keys and product permissions. Can't transfer ownership or change the Owner's billing and profile. |
| Manager | A product or content lead | Sees every product and who added it, checks products again and manages product permissions. Can't manage members, API keys or ownership. |
| Editor | A content, SEO or catalog operator | Adds products; sees their own products and the ones shared with them; checks and edits the products they own or were given edit access to. Can't see every product. |
| Analyst | A reviewer, consultant or analyst | Adds products; checks, edits and deletes their own; reads the reports, information and PDFs of products shared with them. Can't see every product, change permissions or edit other members' products. |
| Viewer | Someone who only needs to read | Reads only the products shared with them. Can't add, check, edit or share products, or see every product. |
One sign-in can belong to several workspaces. Switch in the account menu; products, members, sources and activity always stay in their own workspace.
An Owner or Admin invites someone by email with a role, and they accept with that same email. Inviting someone who is still invited sends the invitation again instead of adding a second one.
Someone who signs in without an invitation joins as a Viewer. An Owner or Admin can then change their role.
Share one product with a member to View, Comment, Edit or Manage it. Owners, Admins and Managers see every product whatever its permissions.
Choose who takes over the products they added or managed, then remove them. API keys they created stop working.
Only the Owner can hand ownership to an active member. Transfer it before you leave or change your own role.
Your data
AI processing
Several features send product text and facts to AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, TypeSafe) and public pages to a web-fetching service.
What is sent and why → Privacy Policy §5.
Unconfirmed facts are never sent.
Common situations
What to do, step by step
Open one for the shortest safe path and how to tell you're done.
01Take one product from added to answered
- Add products → One product: paste the product page's link and choose the closest category.
- Open the product's Overview and note its AEO score and the buyer questions with no answer.
- Add each missing answer with Add answer, or write it on your own page and select Check again.
- In Information, make the commercial terms match your page or policy, then Save product information.
Done when: the buyer questions you can answer are answered, and every commercial term is either stated or Not stated on purpose.
02Answer more buyer questions
- On Overview, open a buyer question with no answer and read why nothing counts yet.
- Write a direct answer — on your product page, or with Add answer. A heading or a single word doesn't answer a question.
- If you changed your page, select Check again.
- Open History: Score history shows the new check next to the old one.
Done when: the question shows an answer and names the sentence that answers it.
03Import a catalog and keep it current
- Add products → CSV file: download the template and keep each file to 1,000 rows.
- Give each row a stable
sku, andbrandandmodelfor marketplace links. - Import, then open it under Past imports. Use Retry rows that didn't finish; use Download rows to fix (CSV), correct those rows and import them again.
- After a change across your site, use Check every row again.
Done when: the finished and unfinished rows add up to your file, and every SKU is either under Products or in the rows to fix.
04A marketplace page that can't be read
- Open the link yourself and confirm it shows the product, not an error page.
- Give the brand and model in your CSV, or correct them in Information.
- Add sources for the claims the marketplace page doesn't show reliably.
- Don't keep a placeholder name, price or model — leave what you can't confirm Not stated.
Done when: the product's name is right and every claim is backed by a source or removed.
05Back a claim with a source
- Evidence → Sources → Add a source: a professional review, a test or benchmark, or customer reviews, with its link.
- Wait for Hasmord to read it, then open View extracted facts.
- On Fact check, link the source to the Pro or Con it supports, then Run fact check.
Done when: the fact shows Checked independently, not Evidence needed.
06Publish the Answer Engine page
- In Information, make the answers specific: who it's for and not for, a comparison or tradeoff, and at least three real FAQs. Save.
- Publishing → Answer Engine page → See what it needs, until nothing is missing.
- Publish, then open the public link in a signed-out window.
- After later changes, select Update: the public page doesn't change on its own.
Done when: it shows Published and Public, and the public page matches your information.
07Review a draft from your Agent
- Workbench → Drafts, then open the draft on its product.
- Check what it changes — the field, what's there now and what it would say.
- Edit it if needed, then Approve or Reject it.
- If an applied draft turns out wrong, roll it back.
Done when: History → Changes shows your decision.
08Measure whether assistants recommend the product
- Results: choose the product, then Run controlled test.
- Check citations to see whether an assistant cites your page.
- Connect Google Analytics in Settings → Connections to see visits from AI assistants.
- After a change, test again and compare in Trends and History.
Done when: a controlled test has finished; a test that didn't finish measured nothing.
09Work with an analyst or agency
- Invite them as an Analyst to review, or an Editor if they must change products.
- Share only the products they need: ⋯ More → Permissions.
- Ask them to confirm they're in the right workspace and see only what they should.
- When the work ends, remove them and hand their products to someone else.
Done when: they can reach exactly the products they need, and no more.
10Remove a member without losing products
- Settings → Team & access → Manage the member.
- Choose who takes over their products, then remove them.
- Confirm the new person can manage those products.
Done when: no product is left without someone responsible, and the removed member's keys no longer work.
Statuses, messages and recovery
What a status means, before you try again
Check that the account menu shows the right workspace, and what your role allows under Settings → Workspace. Signing in again doesn't change your role; ask an Owner or Admin.
Make sure your live page really changed, that it's the page you added, and that the answer is written as text on it. Compare the two checks in History before changing anything else.
Open See what it needs. Each answer must be about this product: who it's for and not for, a comparison or tradeoff, and three real FAQs.
Open it yourself: it must be a public https page that doesn't block robots. Fix the link with Edit; refreshing again won't help a page that blocks readers.
It measured nothing, so no number is shown in its place. Try again later.
Check the workspace, the search box and the page you're on. A product added in one workspace is never copied to another.
Technical updates
Release notes
Changes to how Hasmord reads and scores your products, newest first. Nothing here changes what you saved.
Scoring update (aeo-scoring 2.4.3). Warranty stated in Commercial terms now counts for the warranty specification; reports made before this update keep their scores.
Scoring update (aeo-scoring 2.4.2). Use cases now count only what you say yourself — on your page or in Information; quoted reviews, social posts and questions no longer count, so a product whose only answer to a buyer question was one of these may score lower, and reports made before this update keep their scores.
Scoring update (aeo-scoring 2.4.1). Penalties for weak areas now take at most 30 points off a product's score in total; nothing in this update lowers a score, and reports made before it keep their scores.
Scoring update (aeo-scoring 2.4.0). Some products were imported with a placeholder price, release year or specification that Hasmord filled in — it wasn't read from your page. These now show as "Not stated" and no longer count toward scores, public pages, exports or AI drafts. Nothing you entered was changed or removed. Open a product's Information to confirm the real value or clear it. Reports made before this update keep their scores.
Scoring update (aeo-scoring 2.3.3 · intent-match:4). Hasmord now reads more of what your page already says: a return window, warranty or free trial written in the page text, such as “30-day returns on all orders.”, and more of the words buyers use for the same question, like programmers, work from home and fast charging. Nothing you saved has changed. A product is scored again the next time it is analysed; its score may rise, and nothing in this update lowers one. Information → Commercial terms shows the sentence each term was read from.
Buyer-question check update (intent-match:3). Hasmord now recognises more of the ways you already write. “Women’s health” counts the same as “women health”, “family games” the same as “family game”, and words like comfortable, wide fit, nickel-free, recycled, self-winding, battery life, heart rate, cabin bag and limited edition now count where they answer a buyer question. Nothing you saved has changed and no score moves on its own: a product is judged again the next time it is analysed, and answers that already counted keep counting.
Scoring update (aeo-scoring 2.3.1). Imported products used to be saved with an assumed 12-month warranty, 30-day returns and "in stock". From now on, anything your page doesn't state is recorded as not stated: it no longer scores, and your published pages and exports no longer show it. Existing products keep their current score until they are re-analysed or their information is updated; the new score will show the difference and a fix item pointing to Information → Commercial terms, where you can confirm the real values in one step. Software products are not asked for warranty or stock.
